Lotus had become quite comfortable with her new home. It was certainly an adjustment from the life of a loner but she was finding herself happy to be here. The only real difference was that she really hadn't gone out of her way to meet anyone from the pack other than Sirius. She knew that she had to make an effort, especially if this was to be her lifelong home, and so on this particular morning she was out and about. Lotus was mostly searching for some herbs to add to her stockpile but if she ended up finding some company then she would be happy with that too. She let out a curious bark to see if anyone was within the vicinity, her mismatched gaze searching as she paused in her trek to listen.
