Hello World! [Birthing Thread]

The moment that Iolaire entered the den, she had begun to look Zee over. The roiling, undulating stomach was instantly noted. Those babies were coming out. During a previous examination, just by feeling around gently with her paws, Iolaire had the idea that there might be three pups within. Now it was time to find out.

A major contraction hit the horned woman and Iolaire dumped her pack to the side, but within range. With the size of the pups and the limited space within their mother, she had no doubt that they would try to come hard and fast. "Try to remain calm," she coached. Panicking would only cause her to clench her muscles. It was difficult, but it was doable. Sirius flipped out at his wife's pained sound and jumped to action. Parents were so...dramatic sometimes. Not that she believed she would do any better in such a situation.

Now they would wait for things to start. She flashed a look into the lavender eyes of Deathbelle and nodded. They'd done this before, and recently too. The women worked well together and she had no doubt that they would do their best for this birthing mother as well.
