Aslatiel smiled sweetly when her father told her that she wasn't in trouble. She could already tell that, with him, she could get away with a lot. He was less strict than her mother in ways and more so in others. The little wolf could handle it. As long as he continued to love her and call her sweet things, she would be fine.
Sirius spoke of traveling together, then mentioned other wolves using her against her family. Asla blinked back surprise. Everyone that she'd met so far had been really nice. This definitely needed further explanation. "What do you mean, papa? Why would anyone want to hurt us?" This was all news to her. During her short existence, she'd never even begun to thought that there were bad wolves in the world, let alone wolves that might try to steal her away. It didn't make any sense and she really needed her father to elaborate.
When asked if she wanted to catch breakfast for her mother, Asla giggled softly and whispered, "Mom can't catch her own breakfast!?" Standing up, the tiny fae shook sand from her pelt and awaited further instruction, a keen eagerness in her gaze.
