The boy had been at the edge of the Shrine's border, staring out into the world when he saw a wolf in the river. Azure wasn't sure exactly what he was doing, but it looked almost like he was playing! The pup's curiosity had been piqued, and he watched in wonder as the black and white male moved around the river. He knew he wasn't allowed outside the territory, but at the same time struggled hard against his barrier. The shrine bordered the river, you couldn't scent mark a river, so logically for all Az knew, the river belonged to the Shrine's land as well. At least, that was the logic he used to escape his confines and move into the Rio Grande. He reached the river's edge, but the stranger was on the other side of it. He got as deep in the river as he could without being washed away, but still could not cross it. The man would need to come to him. Azure couldn't see what the man was doing from this far away, and so instead he hopped up and down and yelled to get his attention. "Hey! Come here!" His entire rear end wiggled along with his tail and he sank into a play bow, hoping the stranger wouldn't think he was threatening but just that he wanted someone to hang out with.

Both of Azure's ears have notches and tears.
Az has a scar across his right eye, a mirror image of his natural born marking.
Azure has saber fangs, bone spurs on his elbows and knees, and the paws/forelimbs of a bear.

Azure's companions are a very big bat and a young clouded leopard, unless otherwise stated assume they're not with him.
