What Indy saw as obvious was not so much in his brother’s mind or eyes. Still, the young purple pup was appreciative of his brother’s support. He felt close to his sibling even if he had no real interest the boy was here. They were together, and Indy felt like he was doing something good. He was going to make their momma smile. The dirt was indeed filled with roots, but while his teeth weren’t impressive yet his claws were incredibly sharp. They sliced through the roots easily and before long Indigo had a beautiful root ball beneath his sunflower tree.
Azure didn’t give him a yes or no about his teeth, but he did tell him his own experiences. Indy’s dark ears fell to his skull as he moved to help his brother lower the now freed plant fully to the ground. ”No, not really.” His toes or paws never hurt either. He was going to hold onto hope that he was just a late bloomer. ”Maybe I won’t grow them..” He mused with self defeating tones.
