The day had been relatively uneventful and Azure was quickly growing bored. He remembered how his brother had picked flowers for their mother, and how he'd looked so happy to be around their beautiful colors and unique shapes. There was a small discussion on the ownership of the plants, how Indigo had to pick only the ones that grew wild because - in his words - the ones in the garden did not belong to him. Azure found the idea silly, as the gardens were supposed to be for all the wolves of the Armada to benefit from. Besides, Azure and his siblings were the pups of the alpha pair, and to him that afforded him enough leniency that he could surely take a pretty flower or two.

He approached the garden quietly, almost as if he knew he'd be in trouble if he was caught digging around in it. He rationalized his thoughts as he went, telling himself that it was simply much too difficult to find beautiful flowers in the tall tall grass around the territory. The garden was dug, kept clean, and very easy to steal from. Azure weaved between the beds of herbs, squinting down at the plants and wondering which one might make his brother smile the most. None of them looked particularly amazing, but then again he didn't find much beauty in the bouquet Indy had so carefully collected, either. One plant was bright purple like his brother, and Azure shrugged and then leaned down to dig for its roots.
