Glaciem was growing. He could see it everyday. His father was doing well with recruiting new members, most of them being females of course, but he had heard that his father had recruited a new male. Taurig thought that was a bit strange, given that he himself was the only other brute in the pack besides his father. The only logical explanation for the appearance of this new man would be that his father was recruiting warriors to guard and protect the family. But would this new man and then men after him be good enough to protect the females? If his father giving them sanctuary, then they had to be, didn't they?

The newly promoted knight was a on a mission today; meet new members. He needed to familiarize himself with all of Glaciem's members, women and men alike, but especially now with the males with the possibility of war looming on the horizon. If they were going into battle, he needed to know who was going to fight beside him and if he could trust them, which was why was out in search for the new man today. He'd caught his scent along the border, mixed in with his father's and had used it to track him that afternoon. It hadn't taken him too long, a dark silhouette coming into his icy view. The man was considerably smaller than him, as most were, but that didn't mean he couldn't be a good warrior. Or maybe it did. He wouldn't know until he saw the man in action. Inky limbs glided smoothly across the snowy terrain, bringing the Knight closer to the man, dark jowls parting as he called out to him. You must be one of the new members? It was a stupid question since it was clearly obvious given he'd never seen the man before, but he might as well throw it out there. I am Taurig, son of the King, at your service. He presented a slight bow to the ebony man, halting at a respectable distance, icy eyes assessing the brute as he waited for a response.
