Revelations
Kai

Kai had wandered quite the distance away from Winterfell's stomping grounds. As angry and idiotic as he'd been feeling lately, weirdly enough he was starting to feel some clarity about things, now that he knew just what it took for his servitude to be annulled. Help Winterfell with a few raids (and hopefully stir up some mischief in the process) and he'd been good to go. His ties to Winterfell would be severed and he wouldn't have to constantly watch his back, worried someone might be stalking him to return him to Acere. All he had to do was stay away from pretty women who claimed their puppies were trapped, and maybe he'd avoid any future situations like this next time...
The thought earned a scoff as he stomped across the plateau, clearly with little regard for where he was headed. Occasionally he stopped to sniff at the ground, pawing idly at the various trinkets that littered the field. Some seemed marginally useful, but he wasn't the type to carry around possessions of any kind, so nothing really caught his eye enough to warrant more than a passing glance. Tusks swung hard to the side as something caught his eye in the distance - no shimmering metal object this time, but instead a living and breathing wolf. From a distance the stranger was unremarkable, with a dark coat and decently-sized build, but he was interested anyway, and casually veered in her direction. maintaining the same lazy pace as he ambled over to her. "Looking for something?" Kai called out, his voice as nonchalant as his gait, letting a faint grin tug at his lips as he approached.
