Relieving Tension

There was definitely something in the water. Natha gazed curiously at the youth and his mother that had wandered into her midst. The woman had horns and the boy had spikes, fangs and paws that were far, far too familiar. Paws like a bear. She was getting rather sick of bears but at least she knew what to expect and this would be good practice. She was quickly learning about all the odd mutations the wolves of this new land held and she'd make sure to inform Shorty and the rest of the gang so that they were prepared.

She smiled politely and nodded. Quickly setting her defenses for in a moment the battle had begun. The boy sprang at her and deciding to try something a little different she quickly flopped on her right side, her claws unsheathing as she sought to strike the boy across the face with her left paw, seeking to bat his jaws away before they could do damage.
