Oddity tilted his head back and forth as he tried to figure out and understand this cat. She was trying to figure out how to kill it. Just bite into it until it stopped moving. It would die if you left it out of the water long enough anyway. The cost of one life protected another, and the cycle continued. That was how he had been taught. The scar on his chest was an example of an exception in some cases, more than once. Though she was still pretty after she jumped over him so easily. It was magnificent what a cat like this could do. Though he had ignored her earlier words. Despite her hostility the female seemed to enjoy the fact that she had now learned how to fish. They'll die if you bite onto those slits they breath out of.
