Tamsyn continued to take in their surroundings while she listened to Natha’s possible explanation of how a volcano could turn into such a lush forest. It seemed as logical as any other reason she could think of. She looked at the grass under her paws and wondered if there was lava where they were standing at one point years and years ago. Do dormant volcanos ever wake up? What if this whole forest was just completely destroyed by an eruption one day and they were one of the only ones to remember how this used to be a living, thriving forest? Her internal monologue of questions that could never be answered was interrupted as Natha mentioned that she was planning on continuing her explorations elsewhere throughout the north. Tamsyn looked to her curiously at the idea, already imagining what this huge waterfall would look like. ”I love to explore,” she replied with a nod, smirking a little as she added,. ”I would have agreed to join you either way, but you really had me sold at huge waterfall.” She looked around at the forest again, listening to the birds. As beautiful as this area was, her mind was already far away imagining the mountain that Natha had described. ”Well... I guess the climb back out of here isn’t going to get any better the longer we wait.”
