Dómari's fangs seized hold of Aurielle's hair but it wasn't a sustainable grip and she promptly broke away. He quickly placed all four paws on the ground to steady himself. As she pivoted, so did he in an effort to keep them face to face. She charged and he coiled his legs sharply, dropping like a stone, his belly mere inches from the ground as his head twisted to the side. He sought to snag her left foreleg in his jaws and send her toppling over him. He was fairly certain he could bear her weight even if it left his back vulnerable. In dropping so swiftly her fangs only grazed the top of his head and her chest failed to connect as he was now practically laying on the ground. Hopefully he could get a good hit in and slow her down a little bit.
