loneliness

It was an odd feeling, this feeling of loneliness that Vexation couldn't seem to shake. She was home again with her siblings, she played a fairly important role in the pack, but yet she still felt this gaping hole within her. Something was missing, and what was missing she wasn't quite sure. She just wanted someone that she could lean on, that she could care for. Vexation had never really had that, perhaps that was why she was so attached to her siblings. They were all that she had and if she could shower them with all of her love she would but she didn't want to smother them. So she was left to her own devices again and it seemed that when she was alone she could hardly bear it. The leggy woman made her way through the trees, stopping occasionally to glance upward into the trees with mild curiosity. Birds were chirping and there was still a light dusting of mist upon the ground considering it was very early morning. The sun had barely risen and here she was. She didn't get much sleep nowadays so what better way to spend her time then by taking a leisurely stroll? Vex paused though, letting a slow sigh escape her lungs. She just wanted happiness, was that too much to ask for?
