Run until the sun can't see you

Wickedly sharp teeth tore through flesh and powerful jaws snapped bone like branches. The hunt had begun lands away, but the older fae's stiff, damaged shoulder had kept her from killing the oryx quickly. With bloodied haunches, it had fled. The one eyed dames lone orb closed to a mere slit as she lowered her blocky skull to rest upon one thick foreleg. A gentle breeze ruffled a thick black mane, aiding in cooling down the overheated fae.
