The other woman didn’t seem to be moved by Theta’s comment on her food, this was certainly a weird one. Food was an important resource that should be hoarded, you also didn’t just give other wolves part of your food especially not if they were strangers. Theat was very particular about her food and it got shared with no one, if they couldn’t feed themselves they weren’t getting fed. It wasn’t her problem if any random wolf starved to death, survival of the fittest as they said.
She wasn’t going to take up the offer of eating anything, she was feeding herself just fine and didn’t need the assistance of anyone to do that. What peaked her interest is that she caught the scent of a pack on the wolf. The scent of multiple wolves mingling together to make the scent of a pack, this wasn’t one she recognized. There were a few packs she was near that she didn’t know the names of but she could recognize their scents, but this wasn’t one of those packs. She wondered what would possess a pack wolf to go so far out of their way for a hunt. She probably still carried the faintest of scents of Winterfell on her, but she could tell the difference between a wolf in a pack and a wolf who had been in one. “By the smell of it you’re a little bit far from home.”
