Wash away my worries

Ever since her son nearly found himself over a cliff, Zee had felt nothing but stress. On top of watching her other kids - who aside from Indigo were appearing to grow into tiny ravenous bloodletters - and checking in with Iolaire over his recovery, she felt she hadn't a moment to herself in the whole season. A part of her knew it was simply how a mother's life changed once they had children, but was it always so drastic and hard?
After enough quiet deliberation she tipped her head back and howled for her husband. It was not a commanding nor anxious call, for Zee was only lonely and missed his presence. The two of them had much too little time together since the young ones were born. Perhaps they could find something to do to help her relax and get out of her funk. As she waited for his arrival, she stepped out off the sand into the shallow waters and let herself feel the cool cleansing touch of the ocean.
