the cold wont frost my heart

Indigo wrapped himself around her as though nothing had ever happened between them. First he admitted that he didn't like the cold, then he admitted that he had missed her. Asla's cheeks warmed and she settled easily into the purple boy's embrace. "I missed you too. I'm sorry I've been so distant, Indy." She gave him another gentle kiss upon the side of his lips before settling her head upon his thick forelegs.
She wondered why he had never come to see her in the giant den that their father had built. He'd crafted it for her, but had added things for her brother's as well. It wasn't entirely hers, but theirs too. "The den that dad built for us, he put big boxes for plants on top." She sighed. "Though I suppose it's a little late in the season for it now. You could still come visit. Look at how pretty I tried to make everything." She had painted the walls to look like a galaxy. Well, as much of the walls as she could reach.
Giving her brother a squeeze, the girl closed the eyes that matched his pelt. "I really missed you." She'd killed some things with Azure, but nothing was as easy and relaxing as spending time with Indigo.
