there's nothing more for me

Rava’s mind raced, even if she managed to calm the erratic beating of her heart she couldn’t do the same with her head. Too much happened. The girl felt humiliated, shamed, and beaten without a physical touch. She kept returning to the worst of the moments, when they’d taken her cloak from her. It was returned and donned now, but as she had been placed on the auction block the forest green cape was stripped from her and she’d been forced to be looked upon naked.
Shame burned over her skin as she followed the wolf that bought her, those terrible thoughts splattered over her fear of the future. Rava didn’t know this man, couldn’t quite figure him out from the way he looked at her. She’d kept her head down and wouldn’t speak unless spoken to.
Clouds covered the sky and as their pace continued the rain began to fall. Rava was thankful for her cloak, it was mostly water proof. Her paws showed how muddy it was, she was covered nearly to her elbows and the edges of her cloak were gathering dirt. Who knew when the next time she would be allowed to clean might be. Less time elapsed than she expected when she was suddenly shoved into a cage.
It was more of a corral, logs were driven into the ground to make a fence that none of its captives would be escaping from. Most of the poor souls inside huddled beneath the small awning at the back right corner. Rava observed from beneath her hood as the gate was shut closed behind her. Fear and defeat obvious in her gaze she slunk closer to the fence and willed herself to disappear.
