A TREMENDOUS Wall

Natha's paws stretched wide, almost as if she was massaging the rock. There was something solid that stretched between all the rocks to help them stay together. Almost as if someone had poured liquid rock through them. She settled on top of the wall and gazed out around her, taking in the bare tundra with its few clumps of cedar and spruce trees. Her ears flicked at the sound of footsteps and she turned as a brown she-wolf called out. Natha caught the questioning waver in the woman's voice. She sounded uncertain, as if she wasn't quite sure someone was there even though she was looking almost exactly in the spot Natha was in. She quietly lifted a paw and waved it lightly wondering if the woman was blind.

"Hello there," she said softly. "I'm Natha, who might you be?"
