Poem VS Ares

If it wasn't already obvious, he was excited. And it seemed everyone else was too. Eyes gleamed as he traveled to the battlefield among the others, trying to guess who he might be fighting. There were so many, it was hard to figure out. He could be paired up with anyone! And the prospect of fighting someone who might be better or at his same level fueled him! As long as he didn't get some wimpy kiddy baby whiner, he was good. When the Winterfell alpha announced rules and opponents, etc etc, he went on to face his opponent who, to his surprise, smelled and looked like the baby alpha of Abaven. Oh great. He wondered if this was also one of Rhyme's inbred kids...she did look an awful lot like Theory but who knew how many times Rhyme had been around the block.

Dismissing that from his mind, he focused on the fight after the girl said her thing and the Saxe squared up. He was ready! As she sought to circle around him, he maintained his position while keeping his eyes on her. When she tried to charge in at his side, he quickly wheeled around to face her and used his powerful hind legs to spring forward in an effort to slam the entirety of his chest into her face in the hopes of both knocking her backwards and preventing her from biting. Maybe a bruise to the nose as a bonus!
