High As The Mountains, Low As The Valleys
Tamsyn couldn’t help but giggle at Natha’s reaction to the whale breaching out of the water. She had reacted pretty similarly when she had seen one for the first time herself, though she hadn’t had someone readily near by to tell her what they were. She shook her head to the question of if they would eat them, quickly reassuring her feline friend. ”No, they won’t eat us. Actually, I think they just eat smaller fish. I did hear once that some of them eat plankton, but they’d have to eat a lot of plankton to survive off something so small, don’t you think?”
She looked around again now that she was sure the whale wasn’t coming back for a second pass and her mint eyes landed on the waterfalls again. Waterfalls were one formation that she never got tired of seeing. The steady white noise of crashing water was always so soothing to her. ”This was a great find. It’s beautiful down here.”
