Ignis VS Theory

He had succeeded in clashing with her, and he was thankful for the padding he had put on the backside of his breastplate or else that impact would have been just as painful and jarring on him as it was on her. While the weight currently did make him slower, it was just a prototype that he was testing. Nonetheless, Theory was likely still quicker than him this match. He was surprised when she sat, his jaws clicking shut on air and by the time he drew back, she had sprung away. Ears flicked at the sound of a bird, and it took him a few seconds to figure out that it was her companion helping her out. A bird friend eh? Well, two could play at that game! As if reading his mind, his palm cockatoo flew above them squawking his head off as loud and as annoying as he possibly could as he sought to drown out the other bird's warnings for Theory.

Ignis pinned his ears against the sound, though truth be told, he was pretty used to his birds annoyingly loud cries. As Theory regathered herself and went in towards his front legs (or so he thought), she had somewhat psyched him out, though not quite fast enough. When he thought she was going for his legs, he had jumped forward to avoid it, so when she actually went for his left foreleg, he had already landed on his feet again and just as she started to bite down, his own jaws snaked forward to wrap over her top jaw. At the same time, his wolverine showed up behind Theory and sought to swipe the alphess' hind legs out from under her with his body.
