Wings and Rain

Indigo was the least well travelled of the young bunch of Armada kids. He remained within the packs borders primarily, unless he was asked along on a trip. Maybe it was because he was most comfortable with what he knew, perhaps he didn’t have the same adventuring spirit, or maybe he wasn’t quite confident enough. Being able to go to Ashen was plenty of room for the not even six month old pup. Still, as he watched Marshal circle overhead he couldn’t help the urge to follow.
The boy braved the rain, his thoughts shifting to Aslatiel as he walked, maybe she was going out. Indigo followed eagerly, tail wagging, but the faint scent of Mortis found him. His brother had been quiet lately, and after everything that happened it made Indy sad. He wanted to be close to all of his siblings, each one carried a special place in his heart. He continued onward, not having to work particularly hard to catch up with his winged sibling.
”Mort!” he called out eagerly, of all the pups Indy was the most well rounded. He’d argue that his fur was the thickest as well, all the better for him to get soaked. By the time he reached his brother Indigo was soaked to the bone. ”What are you up to?” He asked curiously as he aimed to nudge his brother’s shoulder beneath his wings.
