Aurielle said she'd see Paladin just in case, and Red gave her a gratified nod and a smile. "I'm glad to hear that. I'd really feel much better if he'd looked you over to be certain." He followed her gaze to the sheep and sighed. He didn't know much about domesticated beasts and taking care of them, but he had hunted enough to know that sort of damage wasn't looking good for the creatures. "Do you want Paladin to try to save them, or put them down?" he asked her gently. He might not be anything of a farmer, but they seemed to matter a great deal to Aurielle, and he never liked seeing anything suffer. To save them and Aurielle pain, he'd put them down himself if it came to it. But maybe she'd prefer the healer to see if he could do anything to help them first, to give them a chance. He didn't yet know her well enough to say what she'd want. In response to her words, though, he scanned the horizon. "I'll gather up a few of the younger wolves to play sheepdog for the day and see if I can track them all down," he promised her.
