He looked up in surprise at the voice that broke his revere. He hadn’t heard her coming. And he stared for a moment at the grey-pale wolf in confusion. She looked familiar, she looked familiar… and then the memory was supplied to him, and he let out a soft breath, and grinned at her. “Hey Banshee, you caught my wool-gathering” he lied, explaining away his pause as absentmindedness. He didn’t want anyone but Asla to know about how he had knocked his head. “Not much” he said, in response to the question she had asked him/ wings still held slightly upright, he glanced about the grassy area, and shrugged, the wings rocking up and down with motion. “Did you wanna play?” |
