As she had suggested that Rava do, Saia had drifted off to sleep. She would rest while she was able and gather what strength she needed for whatever the future held in store. Even she was a little nervous about meeting her newest master. Just because she was prized didn't mean that she would be treated well. The past could attest to that. They were always careful to leave her face undamaged though.

The door banged open unceremoniously, ripping the woman from her sleep with a soft gasp. Aqua colored eyes shot open as Saia found her way to her paws. She instantly fought to regain her composure. Keeping her gaze lowered, she only saw the man's legs and paws. He was... large. Very large. Quickly and smoothly, the veiled woman bowed in place. She hoped that Rava was taking notes and doing the same.

Deep, growling tones grated against Saia's ears and she fought not to fold them against her skull. What made them so special? He was the one that purchased them, sight unseen. Of course he wouldn't know. He had asked a question, and so she assumed he expected an answer. The beginning was always difficult. Until a slave was around their master for a time, they didn't know what they really expected. There was a stage of discovery and, like it or not, they were all in that stage.
"That is for the master to decide." She kept her gaze averted, still in her deep bow. Her tones were clear, but soft. Saia willed her heart to slow, lest it beat out of her chest. She couldn't spare a glance for Rava, but only hoped that the smaller woman wasn't  doing anything to raise the mans ire.
