Ding Dong Ditch

Desolate was not expecting the counter attack and found Ares shoulder jamming hard into the joint of his leg. The boy cried out, his body buckling and his leg dropping from the attempted grapple quickly. He found it hard to think through the pain, and before he could react the man had Desolate's ear in his jaws. Desolate snarled, adrenaline flooding him as he realized how dangerous the situation was. He needed to do anything he could to cause the man to release, and so he lifted his other leg and moved to wrap it up and over Ares face. It was an awkward movement and his weight-bearing leg complained sharply from his previous hit. The idea was to land his claws upon his opponents face - though he could not see any part of it to properly aim - and rake them downwards. If he was lucky he might catch a claw upon his eye or some other soft sensitive flesh, causing Ares to release before his ear was entirely removed.
