Player Database Check

My PD information is all up to date and accurate, links and all.
I don't exactly understand how this decision will determine the "pace" of the site since it seems to be going incredibly fast IC even with people going in and out of scarcity with vacations and school and stuff (which is considerably more important than OOC, right?), but I guess, to me, it all depends on how strict the staff want to be on their definition of "active."
If we wanted a lax method that solely checks player activity then I would say go for the roll call style activity check. Have people state their OOC name that should be listed on the PD and then name the characters that should be there with them. Trust the player to keep things accurate and to be responsible with the characters they are going to claim. It would be less work on the staff, as far as I can see, since it would just be cross referencing to make sure everyone is listed.
But if the staff wanted to be more strict on the activity of the individual characters, then keep the method we currently have. It is no work on the player's part - aren't posts to be expected on a role play site? - but staff will need to handle this one on their own with maybe a summary post after it's all said done if they wanted to. But so long as everyone knows that one post should be expected every ten days from each of their characters it should work out fine.
As for voting, I don't think I can. I don't understand what staff want, so instead I'm just going to leave this here and yeah. o.o
