Releasing her sharp little claws, Aslatiel carefully began to slice open the center of the log things chest. It released pained little squeals, but didn't struggle much. Already she could see that its eyes were getting glassy. It was going to die soon. She had to hurry. Coming down to the ribcage, she fought to slice through the thick cartilage there. Grunting, she looked to her brother. "Grab one side of the ribs and we'll try to pull it open. If we can't, you might need to bite through. I'm worried that it'll be dead by then." The creature was barely moving now and there was a puddle of blood beneath it.
