That Sea is just a Gambler at Heart
Dómari was pleased to see Resin make quick work of the deers lower limbs. He was excited to get the skinning part finished so they could talk and work at the same time. That was the problem with having to use your mouth to do the skinning but he didn't have too many options unless he wanted to give the job to his fox companions. He glanced over to where they were, curled up in a little pile, exhausted from the chase. He wasn't surprised. They didn't have the same stamina as wolves.
"Ok, I'll need to make a gut from the neck all the way down the deers underside to its vent. If you could make a cut on each remaining section of leg and join it up to the center line then we should have all the seams we need." He'd probably remove the tail but they could see to that when it was time. Dómari moved back to the neck and began working his way down, being careful to coordinate with Resin so as not to get in her way.
When he got past the ribs to where the guts were he slowed down. He didn't want to accidentally pierce too far in spill everything out onto their hard work. Moving carefully he got the rest of his cut finished.
