When Abaven's alphess came tearing out of the trees, Greed couldn't help but scoff. She looked so young! He felt like he'd be impressed if she managed to pull off a win, but he knew anything could happen in a fight. While he was sure Acere was more experienced, there were always other influences that could make or break a fight. He didn't remain focused on that, however, because he was looking for his own fight now. To his delight, a fight would find him instead. A younger male would come racing towards him from the right. With a grin, Greed's hackles rose and his head tucked as he whirled around to fully meet the boy head-on, springing towards him at the last moment with his whole weight and force in an effort to pummel him with his body and send the boy flying backward. It was the least he could do, after all, since they were instructed not to maim anyone here (much to his dismay). As a result of his own movement, Desolate's teeth would miss his cheek (though he did likely still receive bruising on his own chest). His jaws opened while he moved, aiming to grasp Desolate's muzzle in his own mouth as a countermeasure.
