For a Sister

Poem was determined to return her sister’s feather to her, the one that belonged to their mother. The one that belonged behind her ear and not one of the Armada’s wolves. The girl travelled with her two companions, but both of them left her for the afternoon. Six eyes were better than two, and while the boys were off Po decided to bathe. After her travels the clear of the steam had almost literally called her name she wanted it so bad.
Though it made her more vulnerable, Poem removed her armor before getting into the deep water. As the cool liquid touched her pelt she let a heavy sigh leave her lips along with the stress that held tightly to her. Life hadn’t been kind to her and her siblings, it was one reason she couldn’t let the feather go. She was going to find that boy and she didn’t care if he was Sirius’s son.
She stewed over the thoughts as she dunked herself into the chilly stream, she gasped as she returned to the surface. Poem didn’t realize she had company until his voice reached her dark ears. Blue and lavender gaze widened as she looked in his direction, and she saw the spitting image of Sirius. Her eyes narrowed as she froze in uncertainty. ”You.” She stated accusingly as she rose from the water and vaulted towards him. There was no mistake that this was her culprit. So obsessed with the scar like markings on his face she didn’t notice his folded wings.
