The dark pup swiped a paw forward, knocking her right forepaw and making her stumble. At the same time, her jaws went to Motif’s throat, catching her high up near her jaw after her stumble. The Abaven girl would attempt to shove her weight forward again, wiggling to get free of her grip, and tried to scare one of her paws down Tsunami’s leg, between her knee and her anke.
