His teeth connected, though the king didn't stay there. He needed to get out of this fight quickly, regardless of the outcome, to get to Bellamy. He had seen the pain in the boys features when Bellamy's teeth connected with him, and while he knew they were all fighting, none of them seemed as painful as that. Even his fight with Theory he hadn't gone so hard, but Bellamy...he didn't have long to think about that, however, because his opponent had tried to attack his ankle. Acere lifted his foot, though he wasn't able to completely get it out of harms way as Brandr's teeth started to close around his hind paw. Pulling away, Acere angled himself slightly inward towards the other male, his hind paw taking the brunt of the bite with teeth cutting the thinner skin and pads before he struck out with it, trying to punt Brandr in the nose or eyes or...wherever his foot managed to connect. He had readjusted himself to keep his balance for the most part, though he decided to hell with it, if he ended up going down then he might as well try to take Brandr down with him and then he could go for Bellamy.

Ace struck out again with his weaponized paw, aiming to strike at Brandr's leg once more while also seeking to bite the thigh on that same leg. He wasn't going for an all out vicious assault, no. At this point, he was just trying to get Brandr away from him so he could get to his pack mate before she did more damage. As for Finn, he had been more focused on attacking the wolf that he hadn't quite seen the raccoon flying at him. As the creature latched onto the side of his face, he shook it and sought to thrash it against the ground. As for Lumi? She charged at Brandr's butt, aiming to come in with a full headbutt to cause the male to stagger forward and lose his balance, or at the very least, offer him some discomfort around his bunghole!
