"Sorry?" The moment he heard that and felt Corvus' grip start to slack a bit, he wasn't so sure about this anymore. At first, he had been excited about the prospect of "training" with them, but it was clear in the way some of the Abaven wolves fought and the way Corvus had come at him that they were seeing this as something completely different. They didn't seem wholly on board with the idea, but it wasn't Ignis' place to make the decisions. He understood why his uncle had made the decision, but in the end...was it even worth it over some ungrateful asshole? The whole thing with Kai frustrated him, and he was beginning to feel like the jackass deserved to stay in that stupid market. Despite Ig's gentler nature nowadays, he almost felt inclined to just drag Kai back to the band and throw him at their feet.

Corvus fell to the ground, his words clear in Ignis' ears. "You should be!" Ig's ears pressed back against his skull, a desperate whine slipping past his lips. As his friend fell towards the ground, he managed to grab the corner of his breastplate and Ignis faltered, conflicted above all else, but he didn't fight against Corvus. He let himself fall, too, his weight landing on top of his earth-colored friend but still, he chose not to bite, and instead found himself fighting back the frustration and urge to just get up and leave.

From the way it sounded, it felt like Corvus was blaming him. Ig had done what he thought was right in tipping him off. He wanted to yell at Corvus, to let him know it wasn't for malicious intent. That it was because of a deal for some ungrateful asshole that didn't deserve it. That his uncle had been conflicted and fighting over the decision for months on what to do. Did they just hand him back? Did they just get on with the deal and be done with it? What would the cost be? After this, he highly doubted Abaven wanted to still be friends with them, but did that matter, either? When they lived there, Shaye had depended on his uncle to fight if she wasn't depending on Rhyme. He adored his mentor. Actaea had adored hers. He had made a best friend...there were so many things that could have been done differently. Theory could have gone to see Acere herself if this raid upset her that much, and while his uncle could have come down instead of sending someone else, he could understand the fear his uncle felt if he had left. Ig didn't put it past Hjarrandi to attack them while the alpha was off on a business trip...but nobody would understand that because they all just wanted to jump to their own stupid assumptions. They weren't the only ones that had lost a lot...

Ignis has a pair of Sika Deer antlers that are not depicted in his artwork (yet).
Ignis is unpredictable and may become violent with little or no provocation due to his "demon" schizophrenia inherited in his bloodline! Consider this your warning!
*Ignis' tail is docked, and his left ear has been torn away and now resembles a Battle crop style.
