He was awfully sore. Of course this was the cobra's own fault for thinking it would be a good idea to go swimming in the middle of the night. Having ended up here he was making due of his situation and did some exploring. Landing him in a place with no cover although for a creature like him it was easy to stay hidden in the grass other than the sun exposing his shiny midnight black scales over his back. His tongue flickered out to give him a better glance at the world, unlike many of the creatures of the lands he did not see nor hear like they did. Koby's vision was excellent during the night but during the day he was fairly short sighted. So his tongue and his sense of smell would direct him just fine as he slithered along the ground.

In his years travelling he had learned how to hunt unlike other king cobra's. Their main meals of other smaller snakes didn't always show up in other places. Although during times of famine his kind would eat small mammals. He found his favorite source of food was fish! No surprise to him there was a lush full river here - looking as if it had just recovered from a harsh summer season. As he struck into the water to grab two large fish he pushed himself up to get a look at the area. With a meal in his belly - he wouldn't have to eat for another couple of weeks(unlike if he had eaten a bigger piece of prey then he could do on for months without food) however he was curious to see what sort of creatures made themselves of this land. The nomadic bone reader was eager to offer his services.
