Roan watched, his weight shifting to his toes as he prepared to react to the young prince. The silver marked warrior was not in the business of provoking young wolves, but the boy was obviously dealing with a lot in his young life. He deserved some kind of outlet. Roan knew the feeling. The half snarl on Roan’s face shifted to pull back the corners of his lips. Amusement was obvious in his aggressive expression as Plague showed his own pristine teeth in return. The boy growled darkly and Roan lowered his head and ears fell to his skull.

Gruff words were the only warning the Armada warrior would receive as the young Klein prince leapt towards him. Roan saw fire in his eyes and knew he wouldn’t have to go easy on the kid. Roan led with his shoulder, letting Plague ram his chest into the point of the right side. The boy managed to wrap his jaws around Roan’s thick neck and the warrior invited him closer.

Roan aimed to envelope the boy in a giant bear hug as he tried to gain control of the thin wolf’s scruff.
