Tamsyn giggled softly when Mortis called his father bossy, but she didn't reply. She had a feeling that Sirius had a soft spot hiding under that commanding, strong exterior, but that didn't make him seem any fitting for the role of Warlord. She thought that him being a bit more commanding fit well with Zee's softer way of handling things. The two of them balanced out well and she wasn't sure the pack would run as well as it did otherwise. But, that was all musings of someone far more interested in the inner workings of the pack than his excitable pup probably was. As soon as he agreed to her offer of a little late night adventure, she grinned happily and got to her paws. "Well, lets get going then!" She trotted along with her new found young friend, quietly making her way past the garden that neighbored her den. She had been intending to make her way over toward the willow trees where she had met Resin, but a noise further into the pack's territory toward the meeting and bonfire area caught her attention. Tamsyn stopped and listened curiously, her head turning toward the noise. If it hadn't been such a quiet night she may have missed it entirely. She glanced at Mortis and told him quietly, "Lets just go see what's going on and then we'll head out, okay?" She changed direction to head toward the noise. It very well could have just been another of their pack members that was out and about that was just making her over react, but considering how late it was she just wanted to make sure. Keeping to the shadows, she led the way as the crept toward the clearing. She stopped when she spotted a coyote that was taking advantage of the leftovers from a recent hunt that had been left out for them to enjoy. The predator was clearly thin and must have been desperate to come into a wolf pack's territory in search of food, but that didn't excuse it stealing their food. It seemed like the adventure had come to then instead of them finding it. She glanced at Mortis and nodded toward the coyote, silently telling him that they should head toward it with a questioning look. For now they had the element of surprise and she'd like to keep it that way if she could. She was fairly confident that the two of them could handle one coyote, but at the end of the day she was still a beginner and he was a pup so she wanted to be careful. |
