Roan grunted heavily as pain blossomed in his chest as the two of them collided. Though the boy hadn’t quite reached his fully mature size he was no small wolf. Roan never met Archon, but from the look of the Empress there was little doubt in his mind the man had been huge. Plague would get there, Roan had no doubt. Eventually he could see himself and the young man out fighting bears together. He certainly had the build for it, but he’d need more practice to back up his natural talent. The silver marked warrior called out as Plague caught his skin and drove his teeth in and blood welled up on the surface. He growled deeply in his chest but didn’t stop the battle for a little blood.

He managed to wrap his arms around the much younger wolf but he was far from gaining control of the battle. He was still not quite fully recovered from his first encounter with the cave bear that took his sister. The boy was a more difficult opponent than he had expected, Roan was honestly impressed. Plague’s teeth dug into his flesh again as their position moved, blood welled at his shoulder but Roan wouldn’t let Plague go without retaliation.

As the boy went to his shoulder Roan reacted by aimed his own open jaws at the young Klein’s muzzle. He wanted to take hold of Plague’s face and gain control over the battle.
