Void had never felt pain like this, yes he and Desolate had practiced their fighting a few times before but nothing had ever gone as far as this. Though emotions came difficult for the starry pelted yearling he felt intimidated by the older boy’s growl as his intended target was moved. The Destruction boy took in a deep breath as he tried to center himself and focus on the movements of his opponent instead of how uncertain of victory he was. Void tried to put the thoughts from his mind as he took on a mirrored disposition. Void pulled back his lips to let forth a snarl that bubbled up from the very depths of his chest. A sound that had never been emitted from the quiet boy.

As he aimed to trip up his opponent Tyto shifted his weight and kicked back at him. Void felt the other boy’s feet push heavily into his chest as Tyto stumbled forward Void stepped back. Where a more experienced wolf wouldn’t have made a retreat he realized too late he’d missed a perfect opportunity to go after the other yearling’s vulnerable belly. Still as soon as he realized Void went after Tyto again, aiming to snap his teeth menacingly at his spine and trying to pin his opponent down with his weight.
