Sirius was right in his element. With the wind streaming past his coat, and the sounds of his warriors around him. This was what he lived for, what they trained for. Moments like this. He was grinning from ear to ear. Marshal dipped lower in the sky, prepared to counter any moves her companions made. When the squirrel jumped at him, Sirius turned his shoulder, offering a perch there instead of his muzzle. Marshal in response would land upon his back in a well-practised move, even as the Warlord’s gait slowed to a halt.

If the awfully colourful squirrel remained on Sirius, the Vulture would aim to pluck it free. He probably wouldn’t eat it, considering it belonged to the Princess.

Venom ducked under him, and the Warlord wouldn’t try his usual trick of sitting on his opponents - her quilled back would make a rather uncomfortable cushion. Bast was waiting as she made her exit, and he grunted as Venom’s quills dug into his soft belly. He arched his back, and fell onto his coiled back legs, bringing his arms inwards in the same motion. He hoped to catch Venom in a bare hug, and hold her in the crook of his arms without pulling her back too far. He would also aim to dig both his fore-leg knives into her flesh, whether or not he was able to make his grip.
