His uncle confirmed his identity and Torin felt like some amount of weight had been lifted, he'd been carrying the grief of losing his mother for years, with no real chance for catharsis, but now, maybe, just maybe he'd finally be able to face that pain.
His uncle asked after Lirim and Torin chuckled softly, nodding and this time it was more genuine. "Lirim is fine. Quite but fine, I have a family now, and it's been amazing getting to watch them grow up... But their mother... and one of my children... they've been missing for a while now." He glanced up at his uncle, moving in a bit closer. "And I guess I just don't know what to do- I can't abandon my pack to take my remaining children and go looking for them, but that's all I want to do."
