Even though she was sad to leave the wolves they had grown up with, coming to his new place was incredibly exciting and the closer they got to the pack their mother had been talking about the more excited she got. She wandered away from her parent's sides with her sister when they stopped to rest and was eager to go and explore this place that seemed to be so full of bird song that it filled the air around them. The light gray young woman kept her two-tone gaze turned curiously up toward the trees, peeking the song birds that rested on their branches. As they reached the more open part of the estuary, she spotted a few cranes that were lingering in the waters - pausing to watch them with a soft "Ooooh..." of interest.

"What do you think it's like to be a bird?" she asked softly, leaning toward Aslaug so she wouldn't scare off the birds with her speech. She grinned and chuckled at the ridiculous idea, but she was still genuinely curious. If there was anything that their parents had instilled in them it was to be curious and that no question was a stupid question. It was fun to wonder about things, even if they weren't exactly helpful questions to ask. "Wouldn't be so much fun to be able to just fly wherever you wanted? This trip would have been so much faster if we could fly!"

She started to scan the ground just to see what else she could find and her gaze landed on a big clump of horsetail. Her tail wagged happily and she trotted over to the plant, glancing over her shoulder at her sister again. "This place even has good herbs!" She bent her head and started picking off several big pieces of the plant and making a small pile to take back to their mother. It was the beginning of winter so herbs were going to start becoming more and more scarce so maybe it would be nice to gather a few herbs to take with them to the new pack as a... Welcome gift? Greeting gift? Either way, she couldn't let this go to waste!
