Too much time had passed since the bear’s death but Roan felt like he had come far enough in his grief to make the next step. Dapple was laid to rest and he’d taken his revenge. It was time, today would be their day. Roan was ready, ready to tie himself to the woman of his dreams. The one who saved him, he’d give her his heart freely in return. Life was funny, but he wanted her there beside him throughout the rest of his.

Iolaire woke up slowly as he encouraged her into consciousness. He smiled softly as she blinked open blue and green eyes sleepily. This was no odd occurrence, and he wanted to wake up beside her every morning. She was his whole world and he would devote every bit of himself to her. ”Good morning, beautiful.” Roan whispered softly as he squeezed her lightly with her gentle affection.

He didn’t miss her confusion as she noticed the time of day. Darkness reigned. The silver marked titan grinned mischievously, ”Iolaire.” He used her full name seriously, but with a pleased rumble from his chest. ”I want to marry you today.”
