The girl asked about his own hobbies after telling him her own. Beat tilted his head, thinking about it for a moment. "Other than hunting, I'm not too sure. I've been..." He searched for a word that would make sense without having him tell his entire story. "I haven't been myself for a long time. I don't know what I like to do yet." He had been nothing but a ghost for most of his life. He'd never really tried new things, so he wasn't what he liked or didn't like.
When Aslaug agreed to go hunting with him, Beat flashed his handsome smile and motioned for her to follow him. Dark nose wiggling, he tested the air, searching for the pigs. The scent was stronger to the right, so he began padding in that direction. It didn't take the pair long to find a passel of pigs rooting around in the dirt for grubs and roots. Leaning close to his new friend, Beat whispered. "The one in the middle looks good. The one with its back to us." The pigs head was pointed towards a strand of thick trees and so, when it ran, it would have to go around which would allow them to get closer. Again he spoke softly. "You take the left side and I'll take the right side." He remembered his lessons with Corvus and everything that he learned would come into play now. He hoped that he wouldn't embarrass himself in front of this pretty girl.
