When not only a stranger's voice called out in response but also Mortis', Azure was momentarily surprised. He'd nearly forgotten about the presence of his brother during the walk. "Yes, we are!" He agreed. They'd not discussed exactly how the fight would work, whether the brother's would take turns fighting opponents or find their own or perhaps engage in a melee. He looked to Mortis now, thinking quietly about the best way to manage their training. Just the idea of battling in a blizzard was a little frightening, and he glanced down to his wide paws that sunk low into the snow. "My name's Azure, and this is Mortis." The boy offered as the other pup came closer. A part of him was relieved that their opponent was to be one nearly as young as they were, perhaps it would be his chance to finally win a fight.

The blizzard roared louder and Azure's ears pinned against his head to try and hide the sensitive skin from the cold. He could feel where the wind blew through the notches in them, and shuddered. Az wanted to ask if this was a good idea, if any of them knew what they were doing. They were so close to the mountain that who was to say the sounds of battle may not set off an avalanche? The prince gritted his teeth and tried to push away the nerves. "It won't be fair if it's us two verses you, so we can all fight each other equally." He offered. "Right?" Azure's head turned towards Mortis to confirm, and then nodded as if agreeing on his brother's behalf. A melee was something he'd never participated in, and he realized he wasn't sure exactly how it began. In order to not show his inexperience, he simply waited for another to initiate instead.

Both of Azure's ears have notches and tears.
Az has a scar across his right eye, a mirror image of his natural born marking.
Azure has saber fangs, bone spurs on his elbows and knees, and the paws/forelimbs of a bear.
Not all of these features are always reflected in his art.

Azure's companions are a very big bat and a young clouded leopard, unless otherwise stated assume they're not with him.
