Siren Primrose
Siren was born timid, but her much bigger and more boisterous brothers only framed this quality more heavily. She was tiny and fragile, and afraid of the pain that was so easy to find in this harsh world. Being with her dad she was safe though, she was warm and he wouldn’t let anything hurt her even if they were in the dark. She tried to put on a brave face for her poppa, but she still felt scared deep down. She took in a deep breath and let herself trust her father, because he promised he would never let anything happen to her.
She watched his moon lit features as she explained her dream and he offered what advice he could. He tried his best to convince her the power of her own mind and even his advice made her feel more comfortable about the terrors she had in her sleep. In her dreams, in the real world, she was always terrified. Siren leaned into his affectionate touch as he told her that her nursemaid would find her a relief for her pain. ”Yes please.” She said softly while rubbing her eyes absently with her tiny paw.
She was indeed distracted by her father’s sudden movement as he pushed the sand around. She reduced her eye rubbing to only the silver gem as her blue eye more easily focused on the world around her. ”It’s nice, daddy.” She told him as she placed her paw on the ground and looked back up at him with a timid smile on her features. Her silver eye seemed to almost look past Hannibal as she watched the light aura that surrounded him. It was dark and charcoal like, but had a hint of silver like her mother’s aura.
She returned her attention to the sand and with one tiny paw tried to recreate the image her father had made, but Siren’s flower took the form of a rose. The tiny child summoned the image of her mother’s crown and with one curved shape after another built the sandy image for her father. She looked back up at him as she finished, her headache nearly forgotten.
