Shaking out his coat, he followed his mother out of the den. This seemed strange. Sure, she wanted to show him things, but he also felt as though there was some ulterior motive. He wouldn't ask about it though. His parents weren't as easily manipulated as his siblings. There was no real point in speaking to them unless they spoke to him first, which his mother decided to do.

What did he want to be when he grew up? Already the boy was have prophetic dreams regarding his future. It seemed as though a sleep couldn't go by where he didn't see flashes of a mountain of blood and bones with himself perched atop it. Giving such an answer would serve no purpose and so the boy decided to not invite conversation about it. Instead, his gruff little voice sounded. "What do you want me to be?" Now she would be the one talking and he could continue in silence.
