Abaven's victory in the raid made him proud. Brandr was healing well and though he was a little sore he felt good enough to do some hunting. While scouting with Ambi the eagle had spied a heard of a bout fifteen bison grazing on the Serpent Plains. It was too good an opportunity to pass up. If they could take down one of the bison they could really throw a feast. It was a great way to celebrate their victory! It would be a challenge though. Winter had arrived swiftly and harshly, a snow storm dumping a good amount of snow on the ground. There was nearly a foot of it. Still, it was worth a shot.
