Let's Get Better Together

After several run-ins with predators Mæva was interested in upping her fighting skills. The Estuary they were staying in was rich in prey, water, and temperate winter weather. It was likely to be a hot spot for hungry predators if they knew where to find it and she wanted to help her dad defend their share of the Estuary.

In order to do that though she needed a training partner. Her thoughts immediately went to the dire boys she'd sparred during the blizzard. They were fearsome and equipped with amazing mutations. If she could win a fight against one of them she'd be well on her way to being a good warrior. Mæva packed up some snacks and set out with her companion to the Weeping Woods. She'd let her dad know ahead of time and promised to be careful. No more falling on lions!

When she arrived she took a drink from the cool waters and rested for a moment before scouting the border of the pack. She caught the familiar scent of the border, tracing it back to their father. Yes, this had to be the right place. Tipping back her head she called for Mortis.
